Today we made Band-Aid Flowers. We got the idea from My Little Princess World. We decided to change it up a little since our group has had a hard time with stickers. This was one of the first projects where Bug actually put things down on the sticky side! I think it helped that the Band-Aid was extra sticky so he could understand why it needed to be put down in a certain way.
Anyway, here is our rendition of Band-Aid Flowers.

Materials needed:
Colorful band-aids
Construction paper (pick a color you want to be the "center" of the flower)
Scissors
Blue constructions paper (optional)

Instructions:
Cut circles into your construction paper. I made them about 3 inches in diameter. These will be the center of your flower.
Unwrap the band-aids from their packages but do not peel off their backings.
Let the children pick a colored band aid, peel off ONE side of the backing, and place it (sticky side down) on the edge of the flower.
Repeat until the children have filled up the edges or are done.
We didn't do this but I thought it would look nice to put the flowers on some blue construction paper by peeling the other part of the backing off and using that to stick the flower onto the paper when they were all done.
Even Bibs (1 year old) was able to make one! Bug wore his around like a badge.
