2-3 Year Old: Craft and an Update

Sorry for the long break. We have been in full swing of school these last few weeks and have been working on next year's curriculum during nap times.

I am happy to announce that we have finished the Science and Music portion. However, they are currently undergoing review in case something needs to be better explained or I made a grammatical error. Yes, it happens to me too.

What have we been up to in the meantime? Crafts!

Here is our most recent craft, Firework Stamp Painting from Happiness is Homemade.

What do you need:

  • Toilet paper rolls (empty)

  • Paint

  • Paper plates

  • Paper

  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Cut lines into the bottom third of the toilet paper roll.

  2. Gently press the roll down so the strips spread out like a flower around the rest of the roll.

  3. Put paint on the paper plates (one for each color).

  4. Have the children dip their rolls into the paint and stamp it on to the paper. Ta-da!

The other kids mixed their colors but my kid was all about green as you can see.
