Extra Craft
Some days you find the perfect craft but can't make it fit in your preschool schedule. A week ago, I found this amazing gem. At the time I didn't know that Bug had the necessary skills until later this week when we were playing with some friends who let him use their squirt gun.
Since we had already planned out most of our crafts for Bug, I decided to squeeze this one in this Saturday. Here it is:
SQUIRT GUN PAINTING
What do you need:
Squirt Guns (at least 3)
Poster Paint (or some other non-toxic runny paint)
Water
Tylenol baby syringe (optional)
Canvas (8X11)

Instructions:
Put the paint into the squirt guns.
We had three squirt guns so I used the primary colors for each one: red, yellow, and blue.
If you have a spare one you can throw away, use a Tylenol baby syringe to put the paint in the guns. Without one, it took two adults 15 minutes to put paint in the guns.
Try to use the gun. If it doesn't work, add a little bit of water and shake it up until it does.
Prop up the canvas on a tree or something you don't mind getting painted. You will probably want to do this outside since it will get messy.
Hand your toddler the paint guns, instruct them to shoot the canvas only, and watch them have a blast.
Our paints were washable and Bug followed instructions to not shoot walls or people.
If you are concerned about potential misfires, you can have the kids wear aprons or clothes they don't mind getting dirty.
Leave the canvas outside to dry.
Ta-da! You have a beautiful piece of art created by your loved one.

This was so much fun, Hubs and I talked about doing this as a date night in the future.
This has been the best craft we have had so far. I highly suggest putting into your schedule.
