How to Make Your Own Circle Time Board

Circle Time can go a lot faster and be a lot easier if you have everything you need in one place. Here is our board.

To make this you need the following:

Shape Flash Cards
Color Flash Cards
Alphabet Flash Cards (with examples of letter use)
Numbers Flash Cards (with examples of countable objects)
Calendar
100 Most Commonly Used Sight Words
Velcro Dots (20 in a pack)
Laminate pouches or something to hold cards
Tri fold board

All of these things you can find at the Dollar Tree. I glued on the main backing of the calendar and used velcro dots for all the days and to switch out the months. This way I can easily update the dates as I go along.

I taped the laminate pouches on to the board so I could just switch out my cards without having to break the board or cards each time I changed them.

I suggest keeping all of the extra flash cards, months, and days in a single location so you can easily change them out daily, weekly, or monthly depending on the lesson plan.
